Pig Launchers and Receivers are called by several names in oil & gas pipeline infrastructure: Scraper Launchers and Receivers, Scraper Traps, Launching and Receiving Traps are a few of them. They essentially have a singular purpose, a safe and effective way to launch (insert) and receive (remove) pipeline pigs or spheres at terminal stations.
